The Unicorn Festival

Bristol, April 2023

In April 2023, I was commissioned to paint a large Unicorn Sculpture for The Unicorn Festival arts trail in aid of Leukaemia Care Ltd. The trail begins in July, with the Unicorn sculptures being placed in iconic locations around Bristol. My Unicorn was kindly sponsored by The Galleries Shopping centre and incorporated bright bold colours with contrasting black line details to create a vibrant sculpture that included motifs from Bristols Coat of Arms and Adinkra Symbology.

I am proud to announce that my Unicorn has also been featured in the Bristol Post. I spoke with Tanya Waterworth about the project and gave a brief interview describing the ideas behind my design.

You can find the article here.

At the end of the trail, the Unicorns will be auctioned off to raise money for Leukaemia Care. If you’d like to find out more information about the project, please click here and you will be redirected to Unicorn Festivals website.
