‘Please Wait Here’ metal sphere installation

This installation was installed in the Galleries shopping centre and explores the destructive relationship between capitalism, consumerism and humanity. It alludes to a system that can no longer sustain itself/ support it’s own weight & has the potential to come crashing down at any moment.

Due to height restrictions, this piece was not fully realised. It was intended to be hung above the spectators head with the words “Please Wait Here” written on the floor. It will be realised fully in my next exhibition.
